Your visible shape is not produced by one thing. The size of the three gluteal muscles, where you store subcutaneous fat, pelvic and femur structure, muscle attachment geometry, posture, and proportions elsewhere all contribute. Training can change muscle size and strength; it cannot redesign your skeleton or precisely choose where fat is stored.
Separate the changeable from the fixed
Glute muscle tissue is trainable, overall body fat can change, and posture or posing can change presentation. Exercise cannot change pelvic dimensions, much of your attachment anatomy, or the basic pattern in which your body prefers to store fat. This is why copying another person's routine cannot guarantee their silhouette.
Understand what creates the outline
Gluteus maximus contributes much of the posterior mass; gluteus medius and minimus contribute to abduction and pelvic stability and can influence the upper-lateral outline. Subcutaneous fat and the proportions of the waist, hips, and thighs affect how that tissue is perceived from every angle.
Use a realistic goal
A productive goal is to build stronger, measurably larger glute muscle while managing nutrition and expectations. A promise to create a specific letter-shaped butt, hip width, or fat pattern is not an evidence-based promise.
One special exercise can change your natural butt shape.
Exercise can add muscle in trained regions, but final appearance still reflects fat distribution and anatomy.
