Start with at least one non-glute-training day between hard sessions and adjust using performance and symptoms. You are probably recovering adequately when technique, motivation, and loads are stable or improving. Persistent soreness, declining lifts, poor sleep, or joint irritation suggest reducing workload or increasing spacing.
Use a simple weekly structure
Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday give most people enough spacing for a two-day plan. The exact days matter less than consistency and recovery.
Avoid turning walking, mobility, or an easy warm-up into another hidden high-volume leg session on the days between.
Look at several signs of recovery
One sign can be misleading, so compare performance in the first working set, soreness during warm-up, joint comfort, sleep, and general willingness to train.
If several of these worsen for more than one session, remove one or two accessory sets, stop sets a little earlier, or add a rest day before changing the whole exercise menu.

Know when fatigue may be a health issue
Unusual breathlessness, chest symptoms, dizziness, sudden weakness, persistent exhaustion, or a major change from your normal response requires medical attention. Training fatigue should not be used to explain every symptom.
Menopause symptoms, medication changes, illness, and life stress can all alter recovery. Adjust the week to the person in front of you.
