The short answer

Technique and strength can improve within weeks, while visible hypertrophy normally requires months of consistent training and is increasingly slow as experience rises. Photos, tape measurements, and body weight fluctuate, so no honest source can promise a fixed number of centimeters by a deadline.

Expect phases, not a straight line

Early strength gains include learning, coordination, and confidence. Muscle growth can begin during the same period, but detecting it through photos or a tape is difficult. Later, the visual contribution of new tissue becomes clearer while the rate of gain often slows.

What to do: Commit to at least one 8–12 week training block before judging the system.

Measure under repeatable conditions

Time of day, hydration, food, menstrual cycle, clothing, camera distance, pose, and lighting can all change appearance or circumference. A single flattering photo is not progress data.

What to do: Take monthly photos in the same place and weekly averaged body weight if appropriate.

If progress stalls

If lift performance is rising, the program may still be productive even before visible change is obvious. If performance, measurements, and recovery are all stagnant, review technique, effort, volume, calories, protein, and sleep before replacing everything.

What to do: Change one major variable and run it long enough to evaluate.
Myth check

A good plan guarantees a visible transformation in 30 days.

A month can establish skill and consistency; meaningful visible growth usually needs a longer horizon.
